Tiger desktop rotation revisited

There were some comments about the picture in my previous post Tiger dekstop rotation.

Some folks mentioned that the picture was not of a real rotated desktop as the minimise and iconify buttons were at the wrong place. This is indeed true, the monitor itself was physically rotated by 90 degrees to show what the effect would look like.

To ease the minds of all those in doubt, I am posting a real picture of a Mac OS X Tiger desktop rotated by 90 degrees with a Serendipity Blackmagic softproof running. I have not bothered to turn my monitor upright so you will have to spin your head to get the idea. Clicking on the image will download a high resolution version allowing closer inspection of the rotated desktop.
