Serendipity ICCtool

In case you haven’t noticed, there is a free tool available for download from our site, called Serendipity ICCtool. In essence this little utility allows you to select a pair of ICC profiles and see how colours are converted between them. Input profiles can be scanner, monitor or printer profiles and output profiles can be monitor or printer profiles. Both RGB and CMYK colourspaces are supported. Since this utility uses the same CMS as Blackmagic and Megarip it gives you a fair idea how colours would be converted through those systems.

Input values can be either RGB, CMYK or Lab so the utility can also be used as a high quality Lab to CMYK conversion tool. Input values can also be read using any of the supported spectrophotometers. Selecting a monitor profile allows you to see exactly how the colour would print using the selected profiles.
