Intel Mac first run

Yesterday we succeeded in getting Serendipity Blackmagic and Megarip to run on Intel based Macs.  The next release will be version 3.2.01 and will include a Universal binary version for Mac OS X 10.3.9 and later. We are just finalising a few bug fixes and enhancements before letting version 3.2.01 out into the wild. Watch this space for more news.

Universal binary for Mac OS X

We are currently porting Serendipity Blackmagic and Megarip to the Intel Mac OS X platform and will have a universal binary version available soon. A consequence of this is that Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later will be required on PowerPC macs to run the new version. Hopefully this should not be a problem as most people are already running a newer version of Mac OS X. If this is a problem for you, please post a comment on the blog and we will take it into consideration.
